Explore Trades and Technologies

Explore Trades and Technologies (ETT) empowers the next generation of Canadian leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs by giving youth opportunities to discover fulfilling careers in the skilled trades and related fields.

In partnership with Junior Achievement (JA Canada), the project brings together colleges and institutes to host a series of World of Choices Summits on campuses across the country. In a hands-on environment, students can discover how to navigate training opportunities, learn about the skills they’ll need to succeed, connect with industry experts, and leave empowered with a deeper understanding of how colleges and institutes can set them on a path to success.

ETT offers fully funded, turnkey opportunities for CICan members to showcase their campus facilities and engage directly with high school students as potential recruits.

World of Choices Summits are interactive opportunities organized by JA Canada for high-school students to learn about fulfilling careers in sectors like trades, healthcare technology, and aerospace.
