EGYCAN: Call for proposals for institutional partnership for agribusiness centre of competence in Egypt

Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is pleased to announce, the launch of a call for proposals under the Egypt Green Skills for Climate-Smart Agribusiness Network Project (EGYCAN). This initiative, funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), seeks Canadian post-secondary institutions to support the establishment of a new agribusiness Centre of Competence (COC) – a specialized training hub designed to develop industry-relevant skills in climate-smart agribusiness.

The COC will be developed in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Education and Technical Education (MoETE) and Daltex Corporation, a global leader in fresh produce cultivation and export.

The call is open to all Canadian post-secondary institutions that are members of CICan.

The call closes on May 1, 2025 at 3 p.m. EDT.
