BCDI 2030: Design a scholarship project

BCDI 2030: Design a scholarship project that empowers women and men in one of 26 eligible countries.

Co-constructed by the Canadian lead institution and the partner institution(s), scholarship projects must propose learning or training activities at the college, institute, or university level to take place in Canada.

We are currently looking for proposals for Stream 1 of the Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030), which aims to strengthen the social and economic development of women and men — particularly women — in 26 eligible francophone countries, Commonwealth countries and Small Island Developing States. This eight-year program is guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Scholarship project proposals must be submitted by a lead Canadian college, institute, or university in partnership with at least one government-recognized higher education institution in one of the 26 partner countries.

Proposals should demonstrate how scholarship projects contribute to gender equality, human rights, environmental impact, and sustainable development.
