Located in the heart of the city, Vancouver Community College welcomes over 15,000 students annually to experience real-world, relevant training and fully prepare for a competitive workforce. VCC delivers innovative, industry-informed instruction in culinary arts, business, design, health sciences, hospitality, transportation trades, and music, while also offering adult upgrading, special education, and award-winning English as an Additional Language programming. Credentials available include bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, certificates, and apprenticeships.

VCC programs are purposefully designed with industry input to ensure a successful transition into the workforce, and VCC graduates enjoy a 90 per cent post-college employment rate. Additionally, VCC enjoys a strong reputation internationally, offering 34 popular programs to over 1,000 international learners per year. VCC is also a member of the Coastal Corridor Consortium, which works to improve levels of participation and success among Aboriginal students in Canada. VCC’s Indigenous Education and Community Engagement office ensures priority registration is available to Aboriginal students who meet program requirements, and offers Gathering Spaces, Elder support, and advising services.

VCC has served its surrounding community for over 50 years through numerous on-campus, student-run services that are open to the public. These include cafeterias, gourmet restaurants, an auto shop, a dental office, a design studio, and a salon and spa. Such service outlets allow students to practice professional skills while providing high-quality lower-cost services in Downtown and East Vancouver.
