Lethbridge Polytechnic has been a leader in education and innovation since becoming Canada’s first publicly funded community college in 1957. Each year, the institution welcomes thousands of students in more than 65 certificate, diploma, degree and apprenticeship programs ranging from health care, business, public safety, human services, environmental and agricultural sciences, trades, design and technology.

Lethbridge Polytechnic students benefit from experienced instructors, small class sizes, flexible learning possibilities and programs that are career-ready, hands-on and industry responsive. With clear pathways to other institutions, work-integrated learning opportunities with community partners and cutting-edge applied research, students gain the skills and experience they need to move into the careers they love. Lethbridge Polytechnic is a place where people come together to learn and grow no matter where they are on their educational journey.

Located on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Lethbridge Polytechnic is committed to honouring the land from a place of knowing, and welcomes all First Nations, Métis, Inuit and non-Indigenous peoples who call Blackfoot territory their home.
