Canada is a country filled with people of diverse identities, a ″cultural mosaic” as some say. That’s why it is essential to have a workforce that represents diversity and gives equal chance to equity deserving groups no matter their race, ethnicity, class, disability, sexual orientation, or gender.
Equity, diversity and inclusion in the workforce starts in post-secondary. Offering learning opportunities and safe environments to diverse groups helps to tap into new talent; something that is necessary for an inclusive and sustainable labour market in this post-pandemic recovery.
