Call for Expressions of Interest: Explore Trades and Technologies Summits

The Explore Trades and Technologies program (ETT) at Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), funded by RBC Future Launch in partnership with Junior Achievement Canada (JA Canada) hosts World of Choices trades summits at member institutions across Canada.

In a hands-on environment, students discover how to navigate training opportunities, learn about the skills they’ll need to succeed, and leave empowered with a deeper understanding of how colleges and institutes can set them on a path to success.

CICan invites eligible member institutions to submit an Expression of Interest to participate in hosting one or more trades summits for the 2024-2025 academic year.

NOTE: This program is conditional upon confirmation of project renewal funding expected fall of 2024.

ETT project timelines:

Summits must be held between December 2024- June 2025
Kickoff meeting for institutions approved to participate will be held in November 2024

Deadline for submission:

Applications must be received no later than 12:00 PM EST on Friday, November 1st 2024.

Expressions of interest must be submitted using the form below. The form must be confirmed by the appropriate signing authority in your institution.

Note: All summits must be held between December 2024-June 2025. A summit is considered an event with between 50-75 students, therefore over 100 students, or back-to-back events (one day after the other) would be a double-summit, or more than one summit.
