Suncrest College was established in 2023 after the merging of Cumberland College and Parkland College, two regional colleges in Saskatchewan. The creation of Suncrest College resulted in a robust and innovative post-secondary institution that is better positioned to serve its learners and communities through shared resources, increased partnership opportunities, and the development of new programming.

The college offers a superior learning experience with locations in Canora, Esterhazy, Fort Qu’Appelle, Kamsack, Melfort, Melville, Nipawin, Tisdale, and Yorkton. Students can choose from a wide array of educational options, including university degrees, skills training diplomas and certificates, trades training, high school upgrading, employability programs, safety training, and corporate/professional development. Suncrest College has been conducting applied research for over 10 years in areas including agriculture and Indigenous social innovation. The College is proud to be the home of the Saskatchewan Emergency Response Institute where professional and industrial firefighting training takes place. Suncrest College is committed to accessibility, inclusion, and diversity. In small classes, students and instructors get to know each other, often helping students to learn more easily and achieve more success. When students succeed, it benefits the individual, the community, and the economy.
