In partnership with Corrections Service Canada (CSC), the RIFT program provides a post-secondary education experience for previously incarcerated individuals seeking meaningful employment and healing. Since 2015, the program has served over 80 participants, enhancing their capability to secure employment or continue education in trades. Participants complete three months of in-person skills training at CNC involving a mix of in-class job skills and hands-on learning opportunities for the trades. Recent cohorts have achieved a 70 per cent employment rate within 3 months of graduation.
