In collaboration with the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED)’s Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy Branch and the Regional Development Agencies (RDAs), Colleges and Institutes Canada will co-host a webinar about the ITB Policy and the potential opportunities that are of relevance to CICan members.
The Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy is administered by ISED and “leverages defence and Canadian Coast Guard procurements to contribute to jobs, innovation and economic growth across the country.” Under the ITB Policy Value Proposition, ISED motivates investments across five pillars, which include ‘Research and Development’ and ‘Skills Development and Training’.
The purpose of this webinar is to help staff at colleges and institutes better understand how their institution can participate in the opportunities under the ITB Policy. In this webinar, key speakers will explain how post-secondary institutions, which meet eligibility criteria, can look for an industry partner and will share best practices to increase your institution’s chances of success.
